This Privacy Policy describes how Dizzy Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our Zendesk Signatures app (the “App”).
1. Information We Collect
The App is designed to work inside Zendesk Support and may access the following information:
- Agent account details available through Zendesk, such as name, email address, role, and organization.
- Ticket context needed to display or perform App functions, such as ticket ID, subject, status, requester, assignee, and related ticket fields.
- User or organization data from Zendesk that is necessary for the App to operate.
- Configuration settings saved by the admin or agent using the App.
- Technical data such as access logs, timestamps, IP address, browser type, and error reports.
We do not intentionally collect data beyond what is needed for the App’s features.
2. How We Use Information
We use information we access through the App to:
- Display Zendesk ticket or user data in the sidebar.
- Provide App features requested by the user or administrator.
- Save preferences, settings, or workflow configuration.
- Authenticate access and prevent unauthorized use.
- Diagnose issues, monitor performance, and improve the App.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Data Processing Role
When the App processes Zendesk data on behalf of a customer, we act as a service provider, processor, or equivalent role under applicable privacy laws, depending on the relationship and jurisdiction.
The customer or Zendesk account owner is responsible for determining the lawful basis for processing and for providing any required notices or consents to end users, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:
- With hosting, storage, analytics, logging, or support providers that help us operate the App.
- With Zendesk or third-party systems the App is configured to connect to, as necessary to fulfill a user request.
- To comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or similar legal process.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the App, support customer accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Configuration data and logs may be retained for a limited period unless a longer retention period is required by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy and revise the effective date above.
